HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I was going to do one more post before this one, but, as it always seems to, time got away from me. Like everyone else, I have a million and one things to do, especially at this time of the year. I know that all of you do, too, and that is why I want to make this opportunity to thank you all for taking the time to stop by, read my blog, Like it, make comments, and share it with others.

I attempt to reach out to anyone who makes the effort to stop by and let me know how to get in touch with them. I am not always successful, but I will continue that in the future. I try to keep up with all you, and intend to keep focusing on that—these conversations are what make life fun!

Don’t worry, I’m not closing up shop. This is not a farewell. This is a heartfelt appreciation for enjoying/being exasperated by/noticing my efforts. I note every Like that I get. I read every comment. Some make me laugh, some encourage me to give the subject of my rant a bit more thought. All of them remind me of the connections that it is possible to make in this day and age, and why I started my blog in the first place.

Thank you, one and all, for your ideas on blog subjects, and for being interested in my opinion. Don’t worry, I’ve got a lot more where those came from.

I am taking a vacation over the holidays, to foster the connections that I have in the real world. I’ll be back in January, when we will or won’t have driven ourselves over the fiscal cliff.

In the meantime,

Happy Holidays,

and best wishes for the greatest

New Year

ever!

Whatever you call these days, however you celebrate, I wish glad tidings to you and yours. You have all made a difference in my life, and I thank you.

See you in 2013, if the Mayans don’t get us!

  1. I’m gonna say Merry Christmas, because that is what we say, however I wish for you happiness and good tidings in the next few weeks whether you celebrate some type of holiday or not. 😀

  2. Merry Christmas to you, too! May you have a peaceful, healthy New Year.
Loved it that you just couldn’t resist the urge to tuck in one final political dig before you signed off. Way too funny.

  3. Baby Brat Face

Merry Christmas to my big sister!!

  4. Merry Christmas … I’m glad we have connected online this past year. Your blog has some of the most insightful posts that I read (but then I agree with 95% of everything you write). Thanks for your effort and have a happy and healthy new year. I’m looking forward to January, now that we’re not worried about the end of the world and “only” going over the fiscal cliff! Whew!

I have enjoyed following your blog (as time permits) over the last few months. It has been both interesting as well as informative to observe the evolution of your style and content as you find your voice. You have developed an excellent blog here. I look forward to checking in on your further adventures in blogging in 2013. I fully expect a NY Times Best Seller from you at some point in the future. Watch out, Ann Coulter! Happy Holidays!
